As you all know this is fitted on the back end of the OEM plenum and can easily be serviced. There is a good thread on it.

With the JJ copy unit, the cold start etc are mounted mid way under the plenum, and would be a fair cow to service.

A friend up here has built himself a kit Cobra with a huge V8 in it, as you would. The cold start fouled on the injector rail, so, he fabricated a little manifold and mounting bracket and moved it all out to where it is easily serviceable.

Does anyone think it might be detrimental to do this on a RB25DET??

Idle motor sits close to fuel filter on 45' angle and easily accessed on greddy manifold.

Cold start motor remains in same position under manifold on coolant hoses.

Any more help Hugh, PM me - doing one on R32 RB25 ATM.

p.s. Did you support your coolant lines with brackets?
