r33_racer
Not really. But it means I would have to buy another throttle body bigger then standard. Probably atleast 100mm, though I think the intake to the plenum is only about 90mm, nothing abit of grinding cant fix. Guess I will just have to see for myself. Hopefully it wont be as bad as he made it out to be. r33_racer
You can probably use either. The sumps are much the same besides the scraper fins on the back of the 25 one. Should be fine. If I still have my old rb25det balancer you can have that. I will have to check in case it got thrown out by my old man. If it is there though, a bottle of red rum is the price I am also northside. bubba
The pickup in the block is in a different location isn't it? Pretty sure you have to use the RB30 pickup... Highly advise an ASR sump/pickup, mine is a work of art! Oh and get a decent balancer.. Oh and get a decent balancer.. just checked. rb30 ones have a o ring to seal it to the motor. rb25 one has a gasket. but i got a gasket in my rb30 bottomend gasket set. might have a o ring in there also but. there exactly the same shape wise. had 2 rb30 ones in the shed but one is crushed and the other the mesh bit is abit broken. will use the rb25 one with gasket Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/318739-rb30-whorethread/page/6/#findComment-5242597 Share on other sites

bigmikespec
Who has had the block grout filled and how much fill...?What size radiator and oil cooler were used...? I would like to know too, I have heard people filling to the welsch plugs with not too much hassle. I would be very interested to know if people do this to engines that see some circuit work...? Alf
RB30 water pump is fine, if you ask one for a VL it will cost you half the price.
