Hi ive been having troubles with my tcs the switch doesnt turn it off. The little gadget i bought off dan 666 didnt help me. Now the slip light works. The abs light works when i turn the ignition on and turns off after a few seconds. Ive had 2 other people check the wiring on the gadget i bought off dan and which computer in the boot its hooked to so i can rule out wiring in up wrong. Can anyone help me out???

So the factory switch doesn't trip it either? I'll have a look at the diagram and see what the go is. Essentially the switch grounds the signal wire and trips the ECU. So unless there is something funny like a break in the continuity of the switch wire from the button back to the ECU it should work, also check the pin is OK on the ECU, not bent etc etc

Pulling the blade out of the throttle body is actually not a good idea. When the TCS kicks in it reduces airflow with the throttle body and cuts fuel to 3 cylinders at the same time. So just letting more air in isn't going to stop the 3 cylinders starving from fuel. The TCS will still work and it actually results in a lot more backfire as the mix is more lean.
