Candice car audio

Hey people,

i was wondering does anyone know anything about the brand candice car audio, that JB-Hi-Fi are trying to sell. From the specs they seem alright except i have never heard of them. The guy at JB says they are comparable to KK products.

I was looking at buying speakers, so has anyone bought or heard or used a candice speaker.

They're not too bad.

There are better brands around though for a minimal amount more if you can stretch your budget....

Well Basically i am tosing up between 5 1/4 inch Alpine Type S splits and the Cadene's splits. I am not sure which are beter. i have heard the Alpine Type R's and they sound great. But are a little out of my price range.

What is your budget for your speakers?

I would choose many different brands before Alpine and Cadence...

I basically don't want to spend much more then 200.00 for the front speakers. I was quated $159.00 for the Type S 5 1/4 inch splits and $200.00 for the cadence 5 1/4 inch splits. I don't really want to spend up to 300.00.

what would you recommend in that price range, i know its a bit restrictive.

Hertz ESK-165 dude. They sould very nice for what they are.

If you can go co-axial's over splits you could always try Boston and Rainbow - both are very well built drivers.

thanks for you help Fhrx, i will have a look for the Hertz today.

btw i am planning on running the fronts off an amp does this make a difference in speaker choice.? or will the Hertz handle being power well?
