Air Fuel Ratio Gauge Install In Gtr

Recommended Posts

If it's not a wide band O2 sensor and gauge then it isn't worth installing, unless you want some bling. The factory narrow band sensor is only accurate around 14.7:1 and it's only function is to tell the ECU where the stoichiometric point is.

+1. I was just about to say the same thing. The narrow band ones are a waste of time and by the time you see something on it, the event has been and gone.

But yes, you can wire it to the narrowband signal wire that goes to the ecu. It's a copper wire with a clear shield usually. Don't remember you saying what model car you had though

if its a 32 forget it, as there o2 sensors are a titania type that does not put out a voltage. put simply it wont work. if youve got a 33 or have sensors that have 22mm hex not 17mm (titania) then happy days.

either one will do. but a compete waste of time. your better of putting a good oil pressure guage in it....

cheers
