cheers for everyone keeping an eye out, i think it will be long gone unfortunately, and the sad thing is i don't think i have the insurance to cover it.

its not a huge drama as its only money and i can always earn more back to pay for something else, but insurance really would have helped in this situation

Aussie R31 came with RB30 I'm sure even if he has insurance if the RB20 wasn't fitted complied and declared on the insurance they wont pay up

It's not that... his car is insured under his company, they have about 20 cars under the policy, he's not sure on what ones are insured, how much for, etc.

car is not insured with RB20 and have just established that it was only insured for third party property, so unfortunately no insurance pay out

but hey, at least i dont need a car anymore lol

Are the cars which are getting stolen have alarm systems and immobolisers? what are the chances of a theif trying to steal a car with a viper alarm system? can they still do it?

any alarm can be overcome. it just depends on the skill and dedication of the thief.

They can feel free to take on my alarm, I'd enjoy calling the cops with their GPS location and cutting the engine once they've caught up with them.

Sorry to hear Bengi that sucks balls. But I agree, these thefts are getting a bit close for comfort.
