Remote Adjustable Swaybars

Hey all

My GTR is still on stock swaybars which are all fine on the street, but it's time to upgrade.

So looking through an old "GTR owners bible" by RevSpeed, I found this;

Now to me, this looks like a remote operated swaybar, which I think would be great!

Anyone have any experience with these swaybars, or another brand doing a similar thing?

Shit ay, thats different, never seen something like that before. Amazing what they can make "adjustable" via remote nowadays.

Well, that mag was published in 2002!

So why aren't they popular? I really want more info on them before just getting cusco/arc like everybody else

Because they dont work, look at it, its adjusting the sway bar lenght from the middle, they should be adjusted on the end links.

Are you sure that's a remote control swaybar? I can't fathom how it adjusts itself in a useful way. As 2lazy said most adjustable swaybars have multiple link mounting locations along the blades.

The text at the bottom of the article caught my eye, I can't read Japanese but it's almost like it says "IT'S OVER 9000!" hahaha.

at the end it looks like "8 ten thousand, 9 thousand yen" = 89,000 yen?

$1025 at today's rate. I'm happy with that aslong as it works!

sard do them. although im pretty sure they are discontinued. were a piece of crap. we fitted some to a s14 at pro concept. all binding up and not remote adjustable. just a atempt to make a blade type swaybar . but in its own its not. a s propper one has no bends in it.

better of with a multi hole one..
