Put some pipes on my 3-2 which has 3in dump back, decat and a scrumy res. Car was very loud so i cut the res out and fitted a GONZO muffler. (unsure if ppl no what they are) it made it quiter but still had bad mid range loud drone which sh*ts you to death driving to work everymorning.

so was wonder whats best res or centre muffler to use to have a streetable straight piped 3-2?

straight pipes is exactly as stated. a straight pipe from turbo back ( no cat, no res, nothing) a twin exhaust system would be off the turbo splitting into 2 pipes and u can put a cat, center muffler on them. or u can just put a nice muffler with twin tips on the back...

this is bit confusing for everyone lol

who realy cares, all I wanted was ideas on res or centre mufflers ppl have used, I don't no why everyones botherd crapn on bout what a straight pipe is, who cares realy..

Hey Damo, I've seen a few rb'd 240sx's getting around with cherry bomb turbo mufflers, single in twin out with straight pipes... They sound quite unique, I like them.

Either that or have a look at some of the XR6 exhuaust products... there are some great 4" high flow/low sound-drone center mufflers out there.
