R32 Replacing Rear Window Moulding/seal

The rear window upper rubber moulding/seal has started cracking badly in each corner on my car and I want to replace it with a new one.

1. Does the rear window need to come out to fit a new one?

2. If not is it something anyone could do or is it easiest to get a workshop to do it?

3. Who can supply new rubber mouldings, does Nissan stock them, can you get a plastic one?

Any assistance would be appreciated

err... i duno man i recon call nissan n buy the seal from them or! call O'brian ? they will prolly know where to source..and most likely fit it for ya..

I assume that R32 seals are similar to R33 ones. Rear window seals are still available from Nissan for R33's at around $300 or you can go for an universal one from any of the major window companies for about half that amount.

From my experience it is one of those jobs that I would have a professional do the install.

Got my rear one replaced, used a common seal like VP commo, required the window to be removed and refitted.
