Hey guys, I've done a search and done plenty of reading but I'm still a little confused about why my car does not have a compliance plate.

The car is currently registered and when I went in today to do a vehicle detail change they mentioned that I don't have a compliance plate and its going to cause issues later on.

It still has its blue build plate and a long skinny plate above the stamped chassis numbers.

Can anyone help me out? Does it need one and is it even possible to get one without going through hell to get it?

Probably 15yo car as stated....it was changed about 3 years ago to be "pre 89" instead of "15yo" because toyota were afraid of competing with their own landcruisers from 15 years ago.

you may have some "problems"but only from people who don't understand the rules. regardless the rta will never let you have a compliance plate because it is not complied. dont worry about it :(
