Was constantly worrying about my car's exhaust getting EPA-ed since i am always moving in and out of the city pretty often, and truely recieved one just a couple of days ago. :D

I don't wanna keep worrying about getting EPA-ed nor do i have the time to waste going around to clear the EPA.

I am seeking help or recommendation for an aftermarket exhaust system which would pass EPA, and something that i can stick on my car for good. And preferably also a workshop that i can get it fixed. Am located in North Melb.

Am not really worried about performance, would like a nice tone that will clear EPA without having to swap out to the stockie. So any recommendations will be much appreciated :P

This has been covered MANY times. I had an R34GTT and ran a Fujitsubo Legalis system. It was great for power and passes EPA also - I know as I had it done. I was running 3" from the turbo back too and still passed :D

Looked nice enough too -

I'm sure there are local systems around though. Others will comment.

adzmax.

thanx i saw your recommendation on that in previous threads, but that was a couple of years ago.

am unsure if new systems are out :D

anyway thanks, have a few questions regarding that and will direct it into your mailbox.

Fujitsubo 3" turbo back is what I got n what most r34s come over here with from what I've seen. They r nce n mild and will pass EPA unless ur unlucky like me n get tested in an underground carpark lol but yeh definatly get that

Wow, I like your car, very clean and well styled. +1

Trust PE2, very quiet on idle and cruising (and thats 3" turbo back)

Very nice note when flooring it. Looks good as well.

.

would it still be quiet at 4800 rpm?

thats what rev we need to be at and measured for EPA

most people would recommend a pe2 for its quiet yet nice bark on load, but i would definetely recommend somehting bigger and less restrictive for a 300kw+ setup if thats wat ur looking for.

if you a size 8 shoe, you buy a 9 to let yourself grow into them. same rule applies for modified cars.......for me at least.

Hi Jap Muscle~

I don't have a 300kw+ setup, mine is stock  Not looking to readily modify the car as of yet, due to time restriction.

other than a 3" turbo back piping with a 5" cannon at the end. I failed the noise emission because when backing off the accelerator it echos off the 5". so right now, something nice and would meet legal requirements would be splendid for me

anyway UPDATES for the thread,

have gave themufflerman a ring, and set a date to go down on wednesday... will be back to this thread for updates
