Hi All

Just wondering if anyone has experienced the following problem.

Load clunking thud noise from front coilovers when going onto a steep driveway or coming off a hump

receives the hump or bump fine

it feels like the front coilovers are just dropping down and knocking into something

I have check to see if everything is secure and all looks fine.

Could it be he springs or something not being held into place ?

Thanks for any help

could be a lot of things. could be ball joints, could be worn sway bar bushes, or any other random bush for that matter.

i used to get a similar noise in a commodore i had and it turned out that one of the bushes had just squashed a bit (car was only 12 months old at the time) and so the locking nuts just needed to be adjusted a bit to hold the bush tighter. can't remember what exactly it was though as that was nearly 10 years ago now.

i'll try have alook at the bushes and joint next weekend and see how we go

not affecting driving or handling from what i can tell, but doesn't sound to healthy when it makes that noise

if i drive slowly over the humps or up the gutter of the driveway it is ok, it just affecting when i am going over 10 or 15km

will post up my findings if i find any findings
