me personally no didnt need to. but a mate of mine has, he did math to work it out, not just same amount as a riser bush.

Did you raise the UCA the same? or only the LCA? Im assuming you did it in a R32?

this thread has got some good information in it. Can I please ask if someone who has made some of these offset bushes up can you please pm me or post up a drawing of these bushes. I have a r33 cradle laying around im pulling the cradle out of my r32 anyways... and I'll machine the bushes myself, and I havent got a diff or arms yet, so I'll just purchase ones to suit the r33 cradle.

Then hopefully r33 coilovers will fit? Or is the difference in them on the upper mount/length. My r32 ones are shagged and I have r33 hks coilovers here too :)

i dont think by changing the subframe you will be able to use r33 coilovers

yeah I will be using all r33 rear end.

Can someone please post up sizes or pm me sizes for these bushes :) I'll even offer to buy you a beer when im down south

Ive installed solid alloy subframe bushes in my 32 gtst, and installed it flush with the car.

I also added a whiteline swaybar. Combined with the subframe being raised and the thicker swaybar, my swaybar is now hitting a seam on the body of the car....

I need the swaybar to move freely, so im wondering if you encountered this problem with the alloys?

thanks!

I've never installed these bushes before but I'm going to say, double check the sway bar is installed properly, and if it is, I personally would just pull it back out and hammer the floor in a little bit...

sorry for the late reply but i have been working on the front suspension all day..

i took some photos, i think i will need to make a metal spacer about 10mm thick (b/c thats how much approx the subframe moved up) so i dont hit the body work. that and hammer the floor. i cant grind the floor b/c it will make it weaker.

sorry if the images came out poorly, they look ok in photo viewer but not good in paint :D

i test fitted the swaybar, but the screws to the bracket are not all the way in, so i will have less room as seen in the photo when they are tight.

any imput would be great, but if no suggestions i will make metal bracket and hammer floor as stated above and let you know how i went.

got it booked in for corner balance etc on tureday, i hope i make it!! :P

hmmm must be due to the whiteline bar.. mine is a cusco one and still has heaps of clearance.

either way. spacing it down is the answer and wont affect the operation of the bar either.

just had a thought that should've crossed my mind a very long time ago.. I'm not sure if the r33 gtr subframe is different but if it is I'll need it as my car is a gts4.. can anyone confirm?

bare sub frames are the same gtst/gtr/gts4

bare sub frames are the same gtst/gtr/gts4

All the same dimensions, I used a GTST subframe in my 33GTR while I did some work to the GTR subframe. The only diff I could see when I had them both sitting on the ground next to each other is the GTR frame has a stiffener welded onto the top of the curved section on each side. Kinda like a double skin, I have pictures somewhere but can't seem to find them.
