Credit Card Fraud

Mrs just rang me and said a $16 transaction just appeared on her debit card with the description "purchase". She hasn't left the house today :S told her to ring her bank straight away.

It appears as Purchase for 2 days until the bank receives the full details of the transaction...

That's what Savings and Loans told me when I had a purchase appear on my card!

She rang the bank, it was the hotel we stayed at in Bali. Dunno what its for, but shell be keeping a close eye out.

very common for hotels to charge late for extra services/items etc.

you'll also find this with in-flight transactions, be they for food/entertainment/telecommunications, etc.
