Hi guiys just recently picked up a R33 gts-t and im having issues with full throttle, from initial boost everythings normal but when i apply full throttle from 4000rpm the boost delivery starts to get choppy but when half peddling it seems slightly better.

Could this be a fuel issue? As i full tanked today on caltex 98, and my mate degreased part of my rocker cover could that also be one of the cause's.

Also this wasn't happening when i picked the car up only after i tanked the car with caltex 98 and degreased part of the rocker cover.

Any help is much appreciated.

Cheers guys.

theres no popping but i guess you might say simillar to farting lol, i thought it was originally dirty fuel and an injector problems but with more research it seems to be more likely a ignition problem, a friend of mine did degrease a part of the rocker cover and wash it down.

Would water have seeped through the cover and possiblly wet the coils or even gone through to the plugs??

Just wondering what the right coil pack would be for a series II ? I heard there was 2 red and blue or something whats the colours mean?

Also is it still safe to drive, nothing is going to blow on me lol as im real paranoid atm being my first skyline

Cheers in advance.

as far as coils go, they aren't different colours between series 1 and series 2. different brands will be different colours (such as splitfires are blue) but they aren't different colours for different cars. just make sure that the coils you get specify that they are for a series 2 r33.
