hello all

Just wanting some opinions on what is the best way to improve my R33 s1 headlights low beam in particular

I already have gone out and purchased some dear phillips halogen globes (can't remember exactly what they were called)

which are meant to be 50 percent brighter than standard globes, I admit they are better than the standard ones but still don't do anything for me.

I'm going to see about retrofitting some sort of driving lights where the S1 has the space for them next to the indicators

they are there but have nothing in them, and I don't want to fit some after market HID set up that my headlights aren't designed for

and I don't really have the time to be mucking around with this either, I do a lot of driving and sometimes I don't finish work til ten at night

with a 40 min drive home on an unlit major highway so can't really use highbeam as too much traffic, I just want some decent low beam headlights.

So any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

fitting driving/fog lights won't do much because you can only use them in fog or as high beam lights. can't use on low beam.

what condition is the outter plastic lense in on your lights? is it cloudy at all? if it is i'd start by cleaning it. there are many ways to do it. cut and polish seems to do the job.

secondly i would look at the adjustment of the lights. if they are adjusted poorly then that will affect how well you can see with them.
