hei guys, i was just wondering if anyone has ever fit R34 GTR exhaust in a GTT before, ive tried the search button however cant find a good phrase for it

1. how much modification is it (in terms of flanges, pipes length)? or is it just a matter of different mounting points?

2. whats r34 gtt exhaust compatibility? look at the r33 gtr diagram, it has the exact same shape as gtt would that means it would fit?

kakimoto website suggested that it will have same flange (i cant read japanese but by inspections most of the part number are the same, look at the picture) the only main difference is the tailpipe is sort of in an angle for a gtr but for gtt it isnt...

much appreciated if can anyone pls clarify this?

cheers,

bly

They just cut the section out that didn't line up and re-welded a new section of stainless. Was about 300mm of pipe that was cut out and re-welded.

Hei, Ive fitted my exhaust last week.. apparently theres no modification needed for the diff-cannon pipe, the mounting points are exactly the same, flushed in.. only the mid pipe is a bit longer (like what wisey says)..

but in my case, the new exhaust has no mid muffler, so I think, if theres a mid muffler, it would be a different case..

anyway I thought ill post it up as a heads up for ppl who want to fit GTR exhaust to their GT-t..

cheers
