hey tom,

its on the west coast near queenstown, on the way to an old town called gormanston. the landscape is really bizzare from all the mining that used to happen in the area, some of the hills are covered in sulphur (i think) as they are orange/pink.

id be keen for a cruise with some of you guys if you ever want to head down there.

a great cruise is, down the the west coast through gormanston and on to hobart for tea then midland highway back home north.. its an all-dayer but so worth it.

hmmm, maybe i'll try and organise that for the spring

or the end of uni

mmmm, last exams, west coast drive then to hobart then watch powerfinger

Have a great time Genelle :ninja:

NSW won't be the same!

All that Macquarie Pass stuff you've done has been good training for Queenstown > Gormanston and even Bass Strait !!!

Cheers Terry,i intend to have a great time cruising down there, got plenty of woollies, getting pretty chilly down there now. Genelle.

not so much warm cloths needed, more wind proof

saying that, today is amazing - sunny and cloudless will a small breeze just wearing a light jumper

but get up to some altitude and the temps will drop and your car will love you for it

when your down near deloraine or launceston look for a road called lake highway - its high and twisty and very good
