hey guys

i got defected the other week in my r32gtst

he only got me for

fmic

exhaust

bov

wasnt aware at the time he ticked full inspection so pretty much everything has to come off needs a blue slip... so coming off is.

fmic

exhaust

bov.

rims

gauges on pillar

pod (boxed)

catch can

i hide my boost controller and turbo timer behind dvd player haha he didnt notice on his first inspection

the guy didnt say anything about my coilovers though???

dont think he could tell about the r33 turbo either

and its got a nistune board in it, injectors fuel pump rah rah but he wouldnt notice would he?

it should be all passed by this w,e

and most of the parts will be back on it by the end of the w,e as some stock parts are borrowed..

i want to get some stuff engineered

mainly the

exhaust,fmic and pod in box

how hard is it to get them engineered and roughly costs?

i doubt my exhaust will be under the 90db.. its a x-force 3"

(opinions of how to make it quiter without restricing the flow)(maybe change change cannon to different muffler?)

its a greddy fmic so i doubt the piping kit is legal had to make an extra hole.

so is it still possible to get engineered?

apexi pod is full boxed

any help will be appreciated thanks

if you want the FMIC done you will need to pass the IM240 emissions test, not that easy to get through but you can get a retune and should pass ok.

Bascially each engeineer is different and might be ok with some things and not others best off to speak to one directly, if you in Newcastle then there is one in Cardiff and he is on the approved list from the RTA look him up or do a google search if not there is a list of approved ones on the RTA site that is the best way to do it rather than ask other people.

Good luck, the cops in Newy are pretty hard on cars trust me i know :P

you will have a better chance of passing the IM240 test if you have a cat from a fairly new car (couple years old) as they have much stricter emissions standards to meet than a car from the early 90's, the only problem is finding one.

tooo bad... I left Australia a year ago =)

Where did you go? You took your car didn't you.... I saw a vid of you doing skids in Georgia and was like "WTF.... THAT is dedication....."

If you're on the European continent with that thing, I dearly hope you plan on paying the Nürburgring a visit.

I've always wondered, if your car is SEVed and gets compliance with all the gear already on it, you have the full report, and then is continually registered..........where does that leave you?????

BTW if you are pulled over again and you have re installed all the 'bad bits' afterwards and they find out, you'll end up somebodies bitch in gaol, they'll throw the book at you - or thats my understanding of it.
