Dr30 And R31 Skyline Rear End Compatability?

Hey Crew,

Can any one tell me if both the DR30 and the R31 came with an R200 Diff and compatible CV joints and axcels?

I know the DR30 had the R200LSD and 6 bolt CVs... but did the R31 have the same set up?

Im in need of a few more R200's and matching complete CV set ups, outter flange is also a must.

The three most common sources for the Longnose R200 is the HR31, Z31 and R30 coupes. Pretty sure all long nose have 30mm diameter axles, 29 spline and shafts are the same length.

the Ozzie 4 door R31 is a no-go

Z31 have some ripper gear, probably more available than the HR31

hr31 sedans and coupes all ran r200 longnose, twincam turbo models ran lsd diffs and larger 4bolt shafts, non turbo and rb20et ran open diffs and 6bolt shafts like hr/dr30

this seems 2b the case with z31 also, turbo = lsd+4bolt shafts, n/a = open+6bolt

6 and 4 bolt shafts are interchangeable at the diff end so u can run a hr/z 31 lsd diff with hr/dr 30, n/a hr/z 31 6bolt shafts

hr/z 31 center diff mount is a compact steel/rubber unit unlike the r30's mostash bar but the mounts on the diff back cover are the same throughout models so fully interchangable

Don't forget 260Z's have a 3.7:1 R200, if it's only the ratios you require.
