The White Beasty...r32 Gtr Track Build

Recommended Posts

Well i currently have 2 gtr's, i was prepping the red one, for track use. then this white one came along for so cheap i couldnt resist.

specs on white one:

HKS turbos(not sure exactly which ones, but they are stock fitment

hks turbo timer

m's torque splitter(does not work?)

17x9.5 wheels

The guy claimed it has "electrical gremlins". The truth is, it had a remote start and an alarm system.

Got the car on friday, had to trailer it home becuase it had a bad electrical draw. removed the alarm and remote starter, then had it in perfect driving condition on sunday. Used it as a daily driver for about a month. then with racing coming up, decided to strip parts off my red gtr and prep the whitey for track. I'm doing time attack.

So I got bored yesterday and pulled the engine out.

only took about 4.5 hours from complete running car, to engine and tranny sitting on the driveway.

Looks like my crank slipped on my oil pump drive...very low oil flow, and thats why it started to knock about ten seconds later.

    • Hello, I am looking to replace my two rear drive shafts in my R34 N/A Skyline but I'm finding conflicting information. Do S13/S14/S15 or R32 NA/ R33 NA fit? https://justjap.com/products/gsp-premium-rear-drive-shaft-l-h-nissan-silvia-s13-s14-s15-3x2-type?currency=AUD&srsltid=AfmBOoqY7EwDaYCUoUU3mxxZ_qrUXkVVHiV4MIN7ozoar6scjnEiekv- would this fit?
    • Hoping they release an R34 getrag pull type.
    • You need the bottom spacers, to make it a 3/4 height injector. https://www.efihardware.com/products/3040/injector-adapter-lower-for-extended-nose-injectors   And you'll need to buy the right injector bosses, these "might" fit. You'll need to measure it up. https://www.nzefi.com/product/raceworks-lower-injector-mounting-boss-kit-for-r33-rb25det-s14-s15-sr20det/
    • Unless there's something particular about the Greddy manifold's injector holes that I'm not aware of, those injetcors look to be totally wrong. They would absolutely want to be spaced up to get those long snouts out of the runner. Which, I think, is not usually the way that that problem is solved. I think the problem is solved by using the correct injectors, which would be much more like what Andrew posted.
    • Thanks for the reply, So i've continued playing around, and fitted the injector adaptors onto the injector, the fuel rail is not able to be mounted now as the injectors sit a bit further out. I suppose the point of the adaptors is so that the injector nozzle isn't so deep into the intake? I suppose 1mm extra on the o-ring would do it but still can't mount the rail onto the intake haha. Waiting on a reply from Aeroflow I'm sure there's something stupid that I'm missing...
