Good Audio Installers In Melbourne

Hey guys, can anyone recommend a good audio installer in Melbourne? Preferably near the city or in Western suburbs.

I've got a subwoofer in a box that needs to be somehow professionally installed secured/into the boot. All the wiring has already been done - it just needs a more secure mount. A REALLY secure mount that can tolerate SAU cruises through the twisties in an R34 GTR. My subbie came loose on the last GOR even though it was secured with heavy duty bolts and L-plates onto the metal tube connected to the chassis underneath the boot lining.

What are peopl's experiences with GL Pro in Essendon

If I can't find anyone cheap/decent I think I might just go with the Autobarn on Elizabeth St. Anyone used them before?

As the thread clearly states he has been in the industry for nearly 15 years now & to call him and discuss any requirements.

All the info is there, if you don't believe the countless happy members on this forum/SAU-Vic members then go to somewhere like GL and pay probably 3x the price for the same result

i think that you should ask about the price first and get creative lol

U will find that it is really steep and applying some DIY techniques will achieve a very simular result

I'm not looking for a pro-installation or something. No-one will see it. Just a more secure way to mount my subbie in the boot. There must be a cheap and easy way.

dont go gl in essendon trust me! i worked at strathfield for 3 yrs installer and all i can say is dont go there or jb or anything like that best is big name places that are not comany owned, if u want a secure sub box take out ur sub and screw through ur box into the back seat or do it through the bottom of the box into the carpet but put a sheet of timber for it to grab onto and dont go too long of a screw you dont want to end up in the fuel tank

Funny the SAU-Vic installer actually works for a "big chain" by day.

It's like any job - it's the person doing it, not the company you need to be wary of.
