GTR Fuel pump compatability

Can anyone tell me if a fuel pump from a R33 GTR is able to be used as an upgrade or is compatable with a R33 GTST

Its larger than the gts-t pump.

GTS-T 135l/h

GTR is 170 L/H nismo is 276l/h

or is there alot of mucking about like the bosch ones??

I fitted a gtr pump yesterday, although I suspect it's from an R32 and other than minor differences on the base it was a good fit. Still used a hose clamp to ensure it wouldn't move though.

The big black retainer on the top of the tank screws off with a rh thread and then you have to pull out the pump which slots into a bracket on the front wall of the fuel tank. Swap the fittings such as fuel filter/pickup over and install in the same position, just remember where the filter faces as it goes well forward into the bottom of the tank.

Watch the boot access hole tho as it can be sharp and I got a few minor cuts, particularly when I was unscrewing the retainer

sorry to bring up an old thread, but is this also a straight fit on the r32gtst?

what about the vl turbo fuel pump? straight fit?

what about r31 aussie version fuel pump?

Yeah, they all pritty much fit into the 32 cradel. You just need to chop up the rubber down the bottom so that it fits in snug. I've got a denso fuel pump in my car, its a very good upgrade to make and easy to! A Vl and VL turbo pump I BELIEVE are the same. WEnt into a shop that sells parts and they looked at the part numbers and found they were the same. However you can get good aftermarket ones for around 200 if you look.

as for flow rates, what are the R31/VL and VLT ones like comared to the R32gtst stock fuel pump?

and what would one expect to pay?
