im hoping to find a good ford mavrick like my dads...but clean, but any other sugestions will help me choose

this is for a daily driver and also for the farm and my dogs so it needs bullbar and towbar and manual

Yeah, surf, hilux or something like that isn't such a bad idea.

Pick one up fully optioned with the jacked up suspension for under $15k from japan. And lets face it? how much 4WD'ing is a Japanese person going to really be doing? It would have had a very easy life.

Some of those Hilux and things I've seen on the mailing lists look tough as... might even get a turbo too. If I wanted something tough, its what i'd go for i reckon.

dont get a surf or terrano.there bad shit boxes.i would go for a TI patrol with rb30e.then stick a rb30et straight in and have a fully optioned truck with overtaking power and mass torque.
