Reverse Lights

ey guys...... my auto when i wack it into reverse the reverse lights work fine !!!! but when the brake is applied the right reverse light turns off..... take your foot off the brake and back on it comes ?!?! . . . this only happens to the right hand side?? . . . i thought that it would be a power issue..as it lights up fine and the when both lights are required to light up it doesnt have enough power.... i have tried changing globes . . need help asap!!!!?!

Look at the wiring loom for the reverse bulb, is it the same as the left sides'?

Previous owner may have broken something and just tapped it into another line.
