hey guy's

got my r32 gts-t rb20det for four months now

but i have a problem at least i think

my stock oil pressure gauge is busted know problem

so i have a aftermarket oil pressure gauge

when its cold he is running around 5kg max

when the oil temp is at 60

on idle he is running at 1,5kg

when he is fully warmth up at 75 the oil pressure gauge says 0.5kg?

but when i am running at 3k rpm pressure is 3kg when im boosting around 4.5kg

engine running smooth no knock or what ever should get the oil change't with mutol 10/50

should i be scared?

Seems to be not much wrong at all with those numbers.

As the oil heats up, it gets thinner and doesn't need as much pressure to pump it around the engine. As the engine revs, it pumps more oil in a given time, and produces more pressure (resistance to flow).

And you shouldn't use anything much heavier than 10/40 oil.

i find it a bit odd lol

because the red light from the aftermarket gauge goes on when im not revving

every time when i am standing still for a cross-section or stopsign i always play with the engine to keep oil pressure up
