Head shims, and Valves?

Hi peoples,

I have recently picked up my Cams from wade. Now i have droped the head & cams at the place that is going to put the head together. Wade cams said that i am going to need some thicker shims made up? (.050)

Now this guy (The guy whos putting my head together) said that he is not sure where to put the shim? and is still asking around.

Does it sit under the lifter? i need to know exactly where it sits.

Also does anyone know where to get replacment valves from? as he is having trouble finding them.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Rocket Industries should be able to help you out sourcing valves if you don't want to use genuine Nissan ones.

Shims fit between the valve top and the lifter. Here's a pic from the Tomei site:
