Ok so a few weeks ago i bought a car alarm that said it came with everything for remote central locking, remote start, alarm blah blah blah, but what it didnt come with is central locking actuators....

So im wondering if i can wire up my remote central locking to my current central locking system somehow, car is a 2 door r32 if that helps.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks guys :)

It shouldn't be too hard to do, im not sure where the cars central locking box is located but if you remove the connections from that and connect them to your box it should work. The only thing really that may be different is if there are master actuators (when you lock/unlock drivers door that master actuator tells other doors to lock/unlock also). Im not familiar with the R32 setup but doing it this way the car like some others may give a warning honk to say doors did not lock correctly due to the actuators not being in communication. Simple trial and error shouldn't take long.

From memory actuators are 2 wire and masters are 3 wires.

Hope that may have been of some help

Yes, helps alot!

And yes there is a master in the drivers door and a slave in the passenger (both doors unlock if driver unlocks where as only passenger unlocks if thats unlocked)

I was just wondering ifit could be done because the drivers door needs to be manually locked for the passenger to be locked, wasnt sure if a remote would do anything...
