Trip Meter Resets

Hey guys, having a problem with the trip meter. Not sure when it started, but lately has been resetting itself back to 0 km every now and again. Was happening a while ago and have since replaced the battery and seemed to go away for a while. Doesn't seem to affect the odo at all, just the trip comp.

If anyone can help or point me to a previous thread (tried searching) would be a great help. Its not hugely inconveniant, i use it to monitor my fuel usage, just want to know if there may be a bigger underlying problem....

could be an issue with the power supply to it or the earth. you could always pull the dash out to make sure the tha plug in the back of the cluster isn't a bit loose.

Hmm, sounds like a tedious job! I might leave it for now and get my mechanic to have a look next time i'm around there. Thanks for the input.
