magpies are very very inquisitive and curious, some mince with shaved lead... lead is very very toxic to birds

if you put lead in or do anything else to kill them and the council come past and see all tehse dead magpies around and on your car they will ask questions lol. I forgot to say earlier, another way to keep them off is to put a rubber or plastic snake on your roof, they won't come near it!

lol i expected him to come in all defensive like!

last night I put a blanket side down ontop of the roof and it has plastic lining on the other so i put that facing out and kept the birds away!

locked it between the passenger and drivers door and was fine

lol i guess im going to keep doing this for a while

i was once in lillydale @ a red rooster car park eatin my fast food when i noticed to cars parked infront of me with this bird on one of them and constantly jumping/flying over and landing on roof and it literally went back and fourth for a good 10-15 minutes i started filming whilst eating.. was quiet entertaining although it wouldnt of been for the owners of those cars when i noticed the roofs had bird drift claw marks on them. will have to post vid on youtube when i can be stuffed lol..
