You have a very hard engine to modify let alone find parts second hand or even genuine new.......i dont think i could order anything for it in the country.

The 2.0L single cam engine does not do any wonders for you but is reliable and easy to maintain :(

All i can say is get the car serviced every 5000km and keep it a everyday car! who knows you might even save money from not moding it and build a track car that needs no rego or insurance just the parts, so you can modify it to your time span and gain a race car :P

right o, hypercritically if i were to go that way since it is the base model I'm assuming a lot of parts would have to be changed to handle the increase in power, i.e diff , gearbox??

Yes a list that goes out the front door, i wish i had a file saved im my brain that could show up with a press of just a button but i dont.

People spend $100,000-$200,000 on well made track skylines.Just depends on power. 400kw is sensible and you can keep most of those parts stock asuming your are upgrading bits on the parts suseptible to breaking.

$50,000 would build you a good track car seeing a reliable 400Kw on a rb25det but then again the top end will take a absolute beating. To many variables too go into overall. I just sugest studdying the parts of engines and you will learn what does what and what is needed and what breaks etc etc. After all your price range is whats possible :(
