Is it normal for there to be pretty much no flow throught one of the tips? There is black in the one with no noticable flow so it's had exhaust through it.

Is this a problem or a design feature?

Asked the same question when I was having a custom job done on my exhaust and was assured that the OE exhaust is like dead pipe live pipe and that the dead pipe comes into play when you're on the loud pedal.

its supposed to do that .

actually makes it go better at low ish rpm / gives it a better spread of power

theres a paragraph or 2 in the alex gorodji gtr book
