ok, i have an R32 GTS-T and a full 3 inch exhaust with a cannon. i have seen my mates GT-R make meter long flames and just wondering why mine doesn't?

i know it's to do with unburnt fuel and a hot exhaust igniting it, and mine makes some fery loud pops! but i've just never been able to get a flame! i have had mates repeatedly rev it to see... some pops are really loud cracks and some are deep thuds. anyone know anything about this?

get a b r limiter , they are like the mad core . the flames make your way car faster . but it drifts weird if your exhaust isnt in the middle . pull the exhaust off at the dump pipe and itll make it do wheelies

+1 but my car did back flips instead of wheelies... i think i pulled to much of the exhaust off

all GTR's need is a gutted cat or de-cat and you will get flames.

mine lets flames out a fair bit with de-cat but as others have said over time the rear bar gets black shit over it which does come off but is annoying. Will probs be getting 3M clear film/sticker for rear bar protection or just chuck a high flow in soon.

Step 1: remove cat

Step 2: turn off the decel fuel cut on computer

Step 3: pay ridiculous amounts of money in fuel to burn rear bar

you forgot to add in step 4, which is "say goodbye to the exhaust wheel of the stock turbo as it gets drastically weakened by the excess heat and decides to part company with the turbo and go on a holiday out the exhaust"

also i think this pic belongs in this thread

So can high flow cats still permit flames (200 cel or 100 cel)? Or does it fully have to be no cat (too loud)? Does it work with non turbo engines? Technically it should because it is unburnt fuel and exhaust heat, unless the turbo contributes to a lot more heat...
