show.it.off
Hey Everyone. I want to Do come cusotm boot fabrication to my nissan skyline r33 boot. Its hard to explain but ill do my best, I have uploaded a picture of a rough idea on what i want to do. The reds bits mean hinges. The black arrows show which direcrion i want the fabric to pull up. ( I want to have pull straps too to pull them up) Ill be changing all the fabric ( still deciding what) And it'll be thicker. I'm still trying to figure out something for the 2 sides of the boot. I want it done professionally, Does anyone know any places that do this kinda thing that are not heaps pricey? Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions? I'm pretty keen to get this done, So any opinions are welcome. Craved
biggest issue is that you have nothing to secure your hinges other than the chassis itself. What about installing a metal plate or something? Like getting it welded on? Craved
where are you from? best option would be to use alloy RHS welded to 2 alloy plates that bolt down on the 2 side areas you havent worked on yet, then hinge off them.
