Can someone please help - I have just removed rocker covers to have painted -

Within the rocker cover is a plate that strains blowby??? I have wrecked gasket and need new one can someone please point me in right direction??

Regards,

Daniel

I'm fairly shure it's not a pre-formed gasket.

It's a small bead of high temp sealer... your talking about the red stuff yeah?

Just remove all the origional sealer, clean it up and run a small bead of high temp sealer around the plate and screw it back into position.

Or

Replace that plate with a mines style plate triple bypass baffle, it will reduce the amount of oil exiting the rocker covers.

I would... it's just a small bead of high temp sealant on the inside.

Thanks for the reply mate - your right I have had another look tonight and it is just that 3bond liquid gasket/sealent stuff no gasket.

And awsome idea on the mines plate triple bypass baffle im doin a search for one now.
