Guard Rolling

Hey all ,

anyone have any preferences in places that roll guards? Ive been advised there is also the "sign pole" method..

Wouldnt mind some other opinions???

I think a guy called Stuart from Dentcraft or something similar did mine, went to his place and he rolled them in his garage.

The funny part was when he put he heat gun down and it melted a hole in the air compressor hose

But I've had no cracks or anything in the paint and it seems like a flawless job to me.

Dentcraft did mine too, just rolled them, not flared.

mate from my old work got his ss's guards rolled by west coast tyres in mandurah. pretty sure he said it cost him $200 and apparently they guarantee they wont crack the paint.

personally i cant see how a workshop can guarantee they wont crack the paint but no harm in asking

Any places people know that can trim plastic wheel flares? That's my problem!

Des from AutoFX, done a couple of my cars, price was $100 - $120 for the both rears depending on what car you have.

Not a single crack or chip in the paint, does it by hammer if needed at the same price too, top work.

If there plastic then take to it with a Dremel

modern paint can handle the stretch. I would'nt expect the process to work out too well on older paint systems
