Item: Brand new R32 GTS-T rear wheel bearings, package has been opened but they are still all greased up in their plastic bags. Come with 12 month warranty.

Condition: As New

To Fit: R32 GTS-T however they may fit other models, you would need to confirm this with Nissan spare parts.

Location: Adelaide, South Australia

Reason I am selling them is I failed a regency inspection due to movement in the rear end, they said it was my wheel bearings. After ordering them and going to get them fitted I soon found out it was my HICAS tie rod ball joints that were stuffed, not my wheel bearings.

Nissan want $360 EACH for genuine wheel bearings, and most other places want $250-300. Willing to let them go for $220 delivered anywhere in Australia, they are quite heavy so freight is normally ~$40.

Yes they do but thats $440 all up. I'm selling $220 delivered for a set of rear ones. :)

110 + 110 = 220

i did all 4 bearings for less then $440.

Well in that case willing to take offers, $220 INCLUDING delivery is still cheaper though haha

      I definitely agree with you there - I never click on content for cars I would never ever be able to get or compete with/against/be seen next to. Seeing a MX5 compete with a FD RX7 will make people upset though, for sure. Even in 2.5L Turbo form which is pretty grass roots. (or at least as grass roots as classic cars can be) Yes we're all classic car owners now.

      People don't always want builds that are overly expensive, or have engineering/registration/insurance issues and head aches that come with them Whilst big dollar builds, and complicated stuff is interesting to watch, there is only a tiny % of people who would actually use this information, or have the spare finances to drop on said builds, whereas the buy a cheap(ish) cool car, and make it better, with a average budget, that the average Joe or Jane could achieve will always be a winner in my opinion

      Bit of a thread revival, you mentioned wanting a bit more top end before, do you regret not going with the 1.01?

      It's kind of interesting - They definitely do builds that split the difference between what they like and what will generate views and engagement. The NC Platform always surprises everyone in a good way, in an uncomfortably good way some may say. They could throw a LS in there and arguably have the best (and best performing) car of the entire stable. But that isn't necessarily what draws views, because people viewing don't want to accept the vegetables of a LS NC MX5 being a superior vehicle in every way (including fun) than a RB26 240Z. This is also why there's not a lot of content about the GR Yaris (on the web in general). They're too good, yet 'only a Yaris' The community doesn't want certain cars to be as good as they are - to beat their hero cars, and I believe the NC MX5 is absolutely one of those cars.
