Hello!

Keefe here, originally from Singapore(Still in Singapore, actually :) ), and I'm temporarily moving down to Australia, Victoria for the next two years to study.

Hoping to be part of the exciting Skyline family in Australia, and getting pointers on how to complete all the paper work when you transfer ownership between cars in VIC.

Cheers!

Is UOM university of melbourne? If thats the case, you're pretty close to rmit.

What do you need to know about eh? Be patient when looking for your car, drive many, and don't convert your singaporean license to the victorian one, you can drive fine with our singaporean license.

Check out carsales.com.au

RMIT? Sorry, I thought you meant Monash! Hip hip hoorah then. I might just be seeing your around town.

Drive many? In that sense, try as many cars there as you can before you make a decision? And cool, I figured just as much reading VicRoads, but there are still questions that they don't answer fully, or rather, are quite ambiguous in that sense.

And finally, yes, already gone over and seen that webbie. Quite a nice number of cars there, tbh. Looks like I'll just have to shortlist and then make decisions. Your input is most welcome!

Frankly, i know shit about cars, i just drive them, and send them to a mech if something goes wrong.

But generally they're pretty reliable, the RB/SR engines. Read around on the forum, under the turbo/nonturbo sections and you should learn way more. Check out the vic section too.
