Rb20 Pinging And Missing

hi guys,

just after some possible knowledge and advise.

since putting in fmic and boost controller ive been having troubles with missing and pinging,

the missing i thought may have been spark plugs or coils, so i checked the spark plugs and they were 6EIX-11's.. which i then re gapped to .8 mm and that helped alot with the missing, but it still does it in the higher rev range.

im also noticing that the motor pings a fair bit in the higher rev range.

i have read that maybe the number 6 spark plugs could be too hot... does any one know if this is correct?

im only getting missing at around 13 psi and above...

any advise is greatly appreciated

get some new copper plugs and gap them down a bit more if you have to.

are you sure its pinging? start with the basics, check base timing
