Hi guys,

I have had my stagea for a few months now, was happy with the halogens that were put in during compliance, however i asked them to keep the plugs and globes for me.

So the other day my drivers side halogen light went out, so I decided it was time to install the xenons.

The big plug for the HID globes was just tucked in there, so pulled it out and plugged in the globe, but no luck.

Here is a pic of the headlights & wiring, hopefully it is something that compliance has done in rigging up the halogens as there is two wires that have been cut as shown below.

Hopefully someone can tell me what the problem is!

Cheers

Sam

hey mate...

all you need to do is get power to the cut wires when headlights are on.... from what i can see they have taken off the plug that the loose one plugs into...

i rekn all you gota do it cut the plug that was dangling... and crimp it to the wires that are cut :).... remember not to touch your xenon globes!... a there f**kING hot... b you dont want prints on them as it can blow them...(not cheap)

yep, works a treat. Thanks for your help.

Its quite simple really, but I thought it wasnt that as I couldnt find anything on here that related, as im sure this is what most compliance shops do.

Anyway hopefully this thread help more people with their HID / xenon wiring to reinstall after compliance.
