I think there is a difference between experience and driving properly. Forget experience, lots of older people cant drive, just as lots of younger people cant.

This is always illustrated to me whenever i drive, even today on the freeway, i was tailgated constantly, without the drivers doing it even realising what risk they were putting themselves and me in. If i had to hit the brakes suddenly, they would have wiped me out, no question, so as usual, i was constantly trying to avoid these people. And never was it by a young driver, all middle age, or over 50 by the looks of them.

So mines_datsun.. all i have to say to u is i hope everything works out, i cant imagine how stupid and shit u must feel already so im not gonna reiterate it...

And you never get yourself into this type of shit again..

Taking sympathy from people in regard to this accident is only worthwhile if you have learned your lesson. If your parents buy your cars then it is them whom i feel sorry for.

Im glad you're not injured or worse we dont need any more senseless deaths.

But are you the real deal? Boasting about this and your other acca? You seem pretty cool about the whole deal... Also what are all the wires doing out under the dashboard?

You didnt happen to stumble across a stolen car (now a wreck) and take pics did you?

Just a thought... are we all sure MINES_DATSUN isn't actually "streetmachiner" trying to buy up all the Skylines in Oz and write them off one by one, so there won't be any left? You know... like the Goebbels "Final Solution", but with Skylines?

I am 32 and it wasn't until I was almost 30 that I realised how little I actually knew about car control. My job occasionally takes me to racetracks and driver training centres to drive some pretty highly priced machines. When you are out on a track trying to keep up with someone like Geoff Brabham you realise that there can be a big difference between what you think you know and what you actually do know. My advice to any young driver whether you drive a fast car or not is to save up for some performance driver training. It could save your life and more importantly, It could save MINE!

for F^%k suke dudes in think we are all a tad jealous here

its not like u all havnt had a few close moments 9correct me if im rong0

I don't think you understand.

People's reaction aren't based on that he wrote off a GTR. Of course people make mistakes. We all have.

The difference is, we aren't 20 years old and slag off owners of less expensive cars that they worked hard to purchase, and didn't have handed to them on a silver platter by their parents.

It's his attitude towards other members during the past few months that has led to the reaction he's now getting.
