I just put on a new turbo (first time) and now wondering where to get the vac/boost line to go to the actuator? the stoch turbo had a nipple on the turbo for it, but the new turbo dosn't have one.

so without drilling and tapping/welding a new nipple on somewhere near the turbo, can i take it from the one in the intercooler return pipe just before the cast throttle intake pipe? I think it had a vac line going to the power steering pump for whatever reason.

what are the risks of blocking off the vac line to the power steering pump?
