Fake HDRs can be achieved with any camera that can take a photo (since you make the HDR from ONE image)

Real HDRs can be achieved with any camera where you can adjust the exposure (by either changing the aperture or the shutter speed)

Some cameras have an auto bracketing feature to make this easier too

Canon EOS 400 (From memory)

Yeah I do have a tripod.

I just take a lot of pics with AUTO Mode and Night Mode and use the tripod at night.
