Yep, and a nice big power steering fluid stain on the ground from his ute lol.

Well this arvo, temp fitted the turbos to line up piping, then bolted them up.

Points to note;

These GTX turbo's are not a bolt on turbo for RB26's.

You need to buy the rear housings seperate.

I chopped the intake snout and outlet to weld on stock piping, and got the flanges welded on the outlet pipes to bolt up to the twin turbo pipes..

Also port matched inlets to compressor housings, as they are 3inch inlets, and inlets are 2 inch on the stock pipes.

Wastegate actuator mounting bracket holes need to spaced out more to bolt up to compressor housings.

Oil and water lines on the CHRA don't have anywhere to bolt to the compressor housings (seemed fine without them).

Oil drain pipes also needed the holes diegrinded.

Gearbox is on too. Just a few little things to go.

Tuesday was spent finishing off engine accesories and piping, as well as exhaust, oils, belts etc.

Cranked engine over with no plugs to get oil through the oil cooler and engine. 20 seconds later, oil pressure :D

Filled radiator up with water only to settle head gasket sealing material, and once I dump the run in oil, I'll put in coolant.

Once it was ready to go, it fired up straight away, smooth and quiet. Like it never got pulled apart!!

So bedded in the rings going up the blue mountains and I've put 270kms on it so far. Next is another oil and filter change then tune!!

Pic of my 'standard' setup.
