Skyline Sedans?

Recommended Posts

well ive always wanted a r33 turbo, but i went to buy one at a importing place, and after talking about the p's laws ended up buying a 4 door r34 (on a great deal)

its pearl white, with hks coilovers, and exhaust (not sure what size), shaved boot, and its manual.

it will take 3 weeks before its ready for me to pick it up as il be the first australian owner.

but i can probably change my mind on which car i want, i still really want the r33, but ive never really been into 34s, so how do they compare to 33s?

so i was just wondering, are sedans all that bad? and how would it compare to the coupe model non turbo?

thanks heaps

34 sedans look good compared to the 32 and 33 sedans

i would get a Cefiro or Laurel over a 32 /33 sedan

I agree, although the 32 sedan looks a million times better than das boat 33. I love the R33 coupe, but the sedan is just plain wrong, especially the way the rear is different to the coupe.

r33 sedans dont look tough at all, unless you spend a fair bit on body mods. r34 sedan looks the best out of the 3 and are the most recent too. id keep with the r34.

R34 4 doors looks a lot better then R33 4 doors.

It is a totally different car, looks and engine wise.

They have the NEO RB25DE engine.

A lot of people hang shit on 33 sedans without realising that in reality you get more car for less money. I reckon they can look good too, mine was by no means a minger.

This is my old car:

And this is what happens when navaras hit them at 60k's

Yes, I realise I now own the same car but in coupe form :thanks:

the difference is 2 extra doors...

seriously tho, you could pick up a half decent 33 coupe cheep as chips. just depends what u want mate. a newer 4 door 34, or a slightly older 2 door 33. id imagine there will be a difference in weight, and i know its easy to get a 33 sideways, never driven a 34 40-door. how easy a car gets sideways isnt really at the top of my list of criteria when buying a car, so cant really help ya there bud

I'm going to sound biased.

I love my R34 4 door, for me I needed the practicality of boot, space and comfortable rear seats.

Another thing that is annoying is when rear passengers get in and out of the rear in coupes - bit of a hassle as the front passenger needs to get out etc.

I guess people don't buy coupes to transport 4+ people anyways.

Nothing against coupes - If circumstance didn't matter I'd have an R34 GTR.

Defintly agre with SoFreshSoClean the 33 sedans are a lot of car for the money. Great gearbox, great brakes, great cooling sytem and a great engine.

They may not be the nicest looking car but I have seen plenty made to look decent and like most cars they can be made to look ugly. Examples of both in here- http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Pi...ed-t225879.html

As for the drifting comment, like any skyline they can be turned in to a fun drift car. Some pics of my most recent track day-

looks mental hanging sideways Habler!

I completely disagree. Lowered with a good choice of rims is all you need. They look aggressive as!

If your reffering to body kits, i don't know what aftermarket kits you've seen but the most common ones on offer for the 33 sedan look terrible.

Less is more! Strip the factory spoiler, and keep all the OEM bits; sideskirts, rear pods. Best look imo

In my opinion I would take the r33 sedan over a coupe any day (that's because I have one :ninja: ) as also agreed by my friend who use to race with Aryton Senna, and I love the look of the back it's a lot more modern than the coupe in my opinion. Coupes are as common as assholes as quoted above..lol

I also can't understand how people can like the R34 sedan!?! looks like a box on on four wheels.
