Torque Settings

ey fellas

i just pulled my 25 apart to freshen her up with a rebuild before i slam some accesories on her and put her back in my 32 and just waiting on bearings but cant find any info on the torque settings for the main bearings and the conrod bearings.. i called nissan they cant help then i called KYP and they reckon 38 foot pound for conrod and 60 foot pund for mains

so was just wondering if anyone else who has done this knows what the settings are ment to be or no where i can get em from??

46-52nM on main bolts

conrod nuts are 14-16nM then an additional 60 degrees - if u dont have a protractor adaptor etc then just torque to 30 it will be fine

these values are calculated for brand new parts/bolts/nuts - if ur re-using old bolts, id do so with extra care
