Boosting Issues.

Hey guys i've installed a hks evc 5 in my gtr, i've realized that in first gear the boost peak is around 1 bar then shift it to second gear the boost peak is at .7bar then at third around .66bar. So i just tried boosting it in gear 2 and it stayed the same roughly around .7bar, has anyone have had this experience? I've installed the boost controller incorrect maybe? friend had a look at it and he said it seemed like it was installed correctly. Any help on explaining and suggestions on what might be wrong or going on is gladly appreciated.

If there is no link between boost controller and gear shifter,

Sounds like the motor is choking. Check basic maintenance items.

The motor is under greater load as you go up through the shifts and it's struggling to breath.

just tested it out a bit more, first gear near around 7000 rpm boosts up to 1 bar, rest of the gears seems stable at .73 bar.

I get this with mine aswell runnin a profec b, 1st gear seems to spike by around 1 to 1.5psi other gears hold steady boost

do you think it's normal? will it wear off the turbos? it's my first time owning a gtr and to my surprise i find it weird that the first gear spikes really high i haven't even boosted it up yet.
