The ambient temp sensor in my cars climate control reads -30 degrees all the time, which means the blend door doesnt close all the way to let cold air through when you set it to 18 degrees because it thinks it's -30 so obviously it wants to warm you up because it thinks youre freezing to death, this is giving me the shits majorly as there is always hot air coming from the vents.

Just wondering if anyone knows where the sensor is or where to get a new one, havent bothered to pull it all apart yet. I'm an auto elec as most of you know but surely someone on here would know more about this particular system than i do.

Any info would be great.

I wont go to the trouble of wiring in resistors, i also found out if i hold down the cooler temp button it switches to FC (freezing cold? lol) and that closes the blend door all the way. So that can be a kind of temporary fix for now as im not too concerned about not having cold air atm.

When i get time ill have a fiddle with the temp sender.

Thanks guys
