Red Dead Redemption

been flat out at uni the past 6 months so the 360 has been collecting dust. Last time I played it I finished oblivion and fallout 3. Now its time to move on and it seems this game could be a contender. I hope it isnt too much like GTA because I got bored of its repetitiveness after a while. San Andreas was good because you could bulk up at the gym and give yourself a poroxided mohawk and kill people with a giant purple dildo. GTA IV had none of that cool shit so I got bored quickly.

Its a brilliant game and I almost certain there will sequels considering the sales. I'm still not sure about what I call the "f**k around factor", I could fly around in the harrier or drive around in tank for hours in GTA San Andreas but GTA IV lacked that something that made me play it when I was bored, I have played through the story a half dozen times and its awesome but when I've done all the missions and side quests I just get bored. The GTA IV multiplayer screw around definetly helped but I dont know that many people on live so it didnt really help, doesnt matter anyway my POS 360 is broken anyway. I think RDR is about the same, epic story, great side quests but I cant see myself riding around for hours killing people.
