So its a different car since since the 1.19 and even then I was only allowed to do 4 or 5 laps till they sent me home.

Since then the setup was changed to get the low 33 at Winton.

Over the coming weeks im chucking the wing on and tweeking it up a bit. Sadly the gate will have to be plumbed up ;) No more cow bell at Sandown Bris

Plus the super special Yokie will add a second im sure.

Defiantly a low 18.

Weather permitting it will have to be the John Mott sprints in July

- Roll Cages - Must be CAMS approved

- Bonnet Catches - All rear-hinged bonnets must have an additional independent non-flexible strap fitted. Permanent straps/pins attached to the bonnet are not necessary. It is acceptable to tie the bonnet down with light rope. Bonnet Pins are also accepted.

Under Vehicle Requirements are these two items necessary for every vehicle entering the event or only if you have them already then these rules apply.

yes that is cams... from what ive seen go through scrute, the cage doesnt have to have a cams sticker or anything on it.

just meet the cams requirements. its upto the guy going through your car on the day. if you get a hard ass scrute, then tough.

and yes you will need an additional restraint. the double system on post '89 (?) bonnets passes sometimes...again depends if you

get a scrute with a pole where the sun dont shine...they will want an independent restraint. (bunnings is across the road, i know from experience...)

if you dont want to screw around and argue with the, great, fantastic work :P the scrute do on the day.

drop into bunnings and get parts to make one of these up http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Se...onnet+restraint

Ok the bonnet strap is easy enough. There is one thing I find confusing and that is whether or not you need a roll cage to enter these events? Based on what was said at the start of page 2 you don't, but reading through the vehicle requirements it says you do?

I have paid to enter this event and I don't have a roll cage in my car. Can you enter without a roll cage?
